Harvest Tea & Silent Art Auction
Sunday, October 25, 3 to 5pm – St. George’s United Church, Courtenay
The Harvest Tea will feature a variety of teas and homemade baked goods made by St. George’s congregants and friends.
The silent auction will feature artwork by recognized artists. From phenomenal photographs and oil paintings to hand-painted potion bottles and exotic teapots, there is something for everyone.
Each artist has chosen either L’Arche Comox Valley or the Comox Valley Food Bank to receive the proceeds from their individual pieces.

L'Arche Crown Isle Auction & Fundraiser
Thursday, December 3 – Crown Isle Resort & Golf, Courtenay
This special fundraising event brings together our community, friends, donors, core members, and their families for an evening of connection and support for inclusive homes.
Meet some of the first core members who will call The Anchorage home, hear their stories, and learn more about the vision behind this exciting project.
Then get ready to bid! We’re honoured to welcome acclaimed auctioneer Sheldon Smithens, well known from CBC’s Canadian Antiques Roadshow and the History Channel’s Canadian Pickers. With hundreds of successful charity auctions to his name, Sheldon is sure to make the evening both memorable and fun.

September 11 – Crown Isle Golf Course, Courtenay
The Comox Valley community continues to show up for The Anchorage! L’Arche was one of three beneficiaries at this great event. We’re looking forward to learning how much the event raised.
St. George's United Cookie Walk
Sunday, December 13 – St. George’s United Church, Courtenay
St. George’s is raising dough for The Anchorage! Whether you bake and donate your favourite cookies and squares or stop by to pick up a delicious asortment of homemade treats, the St. George’s United Cookie Walk is a sweet way to support The Anchorage. Every box of cookies purchased helps bring The Anchorage one step closer to welcoming its first residents. Because love is the most important ingredient of all.

What YOU can do to help launch The Anchorage?
Talk about it with family, friends and even strangers
Housing is good news and people will be interested.
Do you belong to a service group, church or club?
Often these groups have funds to share, or would consider doing a fundraiser on our behalf. If you need supporting information give us a call at (250) 334-8320 or email us at office@larchecomoxvalley.org
Take on a personal project
Raise funds by circumnavigating Vancouver Island in a kayak, walk from Victoria to Port Hardy, knit 100 socks, bake pies, hold a garage sale and donate the proceeds to the project.
Use your special skills
Do a job and in lieu of payment, ask for a donation to L’Arche Comox Valley.
Give a project gift card on behalf of a family or friend
Instead of purchasing gifts, give a “gift card” in their name. Just stop by our office or give us a call, name your amount and we’ll make it happen.
Donate!
Funds are always appreciated and a charitable tax receipt will be issued for amounts of $20 or more.
