Join Our Launch! Friday, October 4

L'Arche is creating homes and neighbourhoods in the Valley, not just houses.

On Friday, October 4 at 4:30pm L’Arche Comox Valley kicks off its fundraising campaign at the Native Sons Hall in Courtenay B.C. The event marks the beginning of an ambitious effort to raise $3.5 million to create independence and community for people with developmental disabilities.

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit the construction of the first phase of The Anchorage – Seven suites of affordable and safe housing with a common amenity space and a Good Friend & Neighbour suite for an Assistant that provides support. Construction will include the underground infrastructure and utilities for a second phase of housing with an additional eight suites on the same property.

The event will feature award-winning Tamara Taggart – a community leader, activist, veteran broadcaster, cancer survivor and mother.

Get your tickets by calling L’Arche Comox Valley at 250.334.8320 or email us at office@larchecomoxvalley.org
