“I think our world needs every opportunity to find joy together, to celebrate together, for each of us to be seen and find a place of belonging,” says Lynda Brosko, Community Leader & Executive Director of L’Arche Comox Valley.
That’s the goal with the Comox Valley Chocolate Festival, a month-long event that encourages people to share in the sweetness of life. L’Arche started hosting the festival last year to encourage fun and sharing during one of the coldest months of the year, while supporting local business, and raising the community’s awareness of L’Arche as they support people living with developmental disabilities in the Valley.

Can’t Decide What to Try?
More than 25 businesses across the Valley are showing their community spirit by offering chocolate creations for the festival. Everything from hot chocolate to cold ice cream treats are available. The festival runs until February 28, giving festivalgoers the chance to try multiple treats while enjoying time with family and friends… and maybe making a few new friends in the process!
